Each One Bring One

NOTICE! EACH ONE BRING ONE is now truly "Each One Bring One!" Below are the revised instructions for the TRTA membership initiative "Each One Bring One," which now will give a member a chance to win $100. The member's name will be submitted for a drawing for each member recruited to join. As the local unit first vice-president/membership chairman, please be sure your members follow these procedures to ensure that the records for the prize drawing are accurate.

  • A member is eligible for entry in the drawing for each new member recruited to join. A new recruit is defined as a person who has never joined TRTA or who has not been a member in the past three years.
  • When a new member joins and submits the dues and the "Each One Bring One" attached recruitment form to the local unit treasurer (please copy the attached sheet of forms and distribute them to your members), the local unit treasurer confirms payment and the new member's eligibility for the initiative.
  • All completed "Each One Bring One" recruitment forms must be submitted to the local unit first vice-president/membership chairman by February 15, 2013.
  • The local unit first vice-president/membership chairman will forward the recruitment forms to the district first vice-president.
  • The district first vice-president will file the recruitment forms which will be used as the tickets for the drawing. Consequently, the recruiting TRTA member will receive one entry per each new member they have recruited.
  • No later than March 1, 2013, the district first vice-president will send to the TRTA office a report of the total number of individuals entered in the drawing. (DO NOT MAIL THE FORMS TO THE TRTA OFFICE.)
  • The district first vice-president will bring all recruitment forms to the district caucus where the drawing will be conducted at the 2013 TRTA Annual Convention in Corpus Christi.
  • Following the drawing, the district first vice-president will submit the name of the district winner to Francis Plemmons, TRTA First Vice-President.
  • The winners will be announced and presented with a crisp $100 bill during the Banquet. Should a winner not be present, a $100 check will be mailed from the TRTA office following the convention.
