Membership in TRTA

1.  You may join at your local unit. To find your closest local unit, please contact TRTA or you may visit the local unit directory.

2.  TRTA offers three easy ways to join. Option 1, $2.08 monthly payroll deduction (must receive a TRS annuity to enroll). Please complete the TRS form 593 along with your enrollment form. Option 2, $2.08 monthly bank draft. Attach a voided check and the completed enrollment form. Option 3, $25.00 annual dues. Complete the enrollment form and payment. TRTA membership year is July 1- June 30.

There are two membership designations: regular and associate. If you are a retired public school district or higher educational institution employee, you will be a regular member. If you are a person who is interested in retiree or educational issues, such as a friend or a spouse of a member, you will be an associate member.
