April 9-11, 2013: TRTA 60th Annual Convention
Thank you to everyone who attended the "Diamond Jubilee by the Sea" in Corpus Christi.

The TRTA officer's for 2013-2014 were duly elected and installed at the 60th House of Delegates on April 11, 2013: Maridell Fryar, President; Fran Plemmons, First Vice-President; Nancy Byler, Second Vice-President and Don Vardeman, Secretary/Treasurer & Finance. 

The Nominating Committee duly elected by the 60th House of Delegates for 2013-2014 consists of: Charles Thompson, Dist. 8; Dr. Martha Jones, Dist. 3; Julia Cummins, Dist. 10; and Jack Teddlie, Dist. 11.

The following bylaw amendments were adopted. Proposed amendment #1, the Audit Committee would no longer be a standing committee of TRTA. Proposed amendment #4, District Secretaries and District Treasurers would be automatic delegates to the TRTA House of Delegates. Proposed amendment #5, amendment to the proposed amendment #5, annual TRTA dues would be $35 of which $3 would be rebated to the respective TRTA District.
